Recipe for Violets Tasty Raspberry Buns

Ingredients:-

8ozs Self Raising Flour.-- 1 Egg.--3ozs Margarine--3ozs Granulated sugar.
little milk--Raspberry Jam--Small amount of Caster sugar.
Number of Buns-8
Method:-

For perfect results weigh all ingedients.Using a little greaseproof paper lightly spread some margarine on to your baking tray.

Place flour and margarine in a medium sized mixing bowl. Proceed to rub flour and margarine together between fingures until it looks like breadcrumbs, then stir in the granulated sugar. Beat the egg and milk together and mix to a firm consistency with a knife to form a ball of soft dough.

Place the ball of dough on to a floured board and with you hand press slightly to flatten the dough and then divide into eight pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball and flatten slightly on the floured board.

Place a teaspoonful of raspberry jam in the center of each bun.

Gather up the outer edges to enclose the jam then carefully turn each bun upside down and place on the baking tray. Gently flatten the buns and brush with milk and sprinkle liberally with the caster sugar.

Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees, gas mark 6, for 20 minutes.

If you have a go at these let me know how they turn out!

Creating energy from the wind

My project for the past 15 months was to design and build a 12volt windpower generator which would be installed on the gable end of my house.
As you can see from the photo my Mk5 is now complete and running very well.Over the past months the main body and blades have been modified many times.
Generator:- 450watt DC Wind Generator Turbine Motor.
Main Body:- Softwood and Exterior Plywood.
Blades:- After many, many tests with sheet metal,Exterior Ply and PVC Pipe I found
that the PVC Pipe was the best.
Please contact me if anyone out there has the same interest.
